My client are a world renowned medical device technology leader. They have been present in Ireland since 1999 with multiple sites here. Over 2500 people are employed in Ireland with most of the company's employees working at the facility in Galway. This site is their centre of excellence for the development and manufacture of a number of the company's key medical technologies for the treatment and management of cardiovascular and cardiac rhythm diseases.
As Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the development, documentation, maintenance and improvement of the site Quality Management System.
You will lead and support root-cause driven approaches to problem solving efforts for quality related issues. You will use and establish analysis techniques and other quality tools to add decision making. You will manage Quality System programs such as CAPA's, Audits (internal and external) and Documentation.
You've been working as a Quality Engineer or related position for at least 2 years within the medical device/pharmaceutical/diagnostics industry. You have a third level degree (Honours/Level 8) in Science, Engineering or similar. You have auditing experience and good knowledge of ISO13485.
